Two ventures, one thesis. The technology shaping childhood is being built faster than the safeguards around it, so I built the safeguards around it. Halo is the enforcement layer: every code change reviewed against COPPA, AADC, the EU AI Act, and a growing list of global emerging children's-safety standards before it reaches a child. The Mindful Media Foundation is the prevention layer: a venture-philanthropy foundation that funds the research, backs the tools, and audits what organizations put in front of kids. It's the same work I do for the law firms and foundations I advise: turn a moving regulatory target into ethical AI infrastructure that holds.
The compliance scanner for AI agents and engineering teams building products that touch kids. Every code change is reviewed against COPPA, AADC, EU AI Act, and emerging children's-safety standards before it ever reaches a child. Built for the people and the AI writing the next generation of the internet.
Mindful Media is on a mission to develop and support innovative media and technology that advance the mental and behavioral health of society, starting with children, who feel the effects first. We do this by building the infrastructure for children and families in the age of AI, and by stewarding funds toward the research and ethical solutions that address the screen-time crisis.
Building a product that touches kids?
Get Early Access to Halo ↗Compliance was a PDF. Now it's enforceable. The teams building children's products need infrastructure that enforces the rules at the engineering layer, not legal review after the fact.
