About
I build AI systems that ship. From multi-agent orchestration pipelines to automated compliance engines, I design and deploy production AI infrastructure across healthcare, entertainment, ed-tech, developer tools, and regulatory compliance. The work I care about most is the infrastructure that protects kids online.
My approach is rooted in systems thinking and first principles reasoning. I have dyslexia, which I consider my superpower. It lets me see patterns across domains and design AI systems that others miss.
For over 10 years, I worked inside the system, alongside teams developing the algorithms and designing the features that are now driving our mental health crisis. I was there when engagement became more important than wellbeing, when addiction became the business model.
Midway through that journey, I made a choice: build the solution instead of optimizing the problem.
That choice led to Halo — the guardian layer for the people and the AI agents engineering products for children. Every code change shipping into a children's app gets reviewed against COPPA, AADC, EU AI Act, and emerging children's-safety standards before it ever reaches a child. The rules meant to protect kids should be enforceable infrastructure, not aspirational PDFs. That's the core focus of my work right now.
Halo is the engineering arm of a longer thesis. Mindful Media Foundation — the nonprofit I founded — is the prevention arm. Clinically grounded research, public-good distribution, and evidence-aligned storytelling that informs what "safe for kids" actually means at a developmental level. Two ventures, one problem: the internet wasn't built for children, and now AI is writing the next layer of it. The work is on both fronts at once.
Every algorithm optimizing for engagement over wellbeing trades human potential for data points. As AI becomes the infrastructure for everything from healthcare to education, the question isn't whether we'll embed intelligence, it's whether we'll embed wisdom. I'm building the enforcement layer that makes the rules meant to protect children actually hold — and the research arm that defines what those rules should be in the first place.
You'll find me recharging in nature, either by the beach or sitting on a rock in the desert. I play basketball and love cooking with friends.
