About
I'm Bobby Alexis — an entrepreneur working at the intersection of entertainment, mental health, and ethical AI. I founded Mindful Media because I believe the same media ecosystem that's driving a pediatric mental health crisis can be redesigned to prevent it.
That's not idealism. It's architecture. The question isn't whether media shapes children's development — decades of research confirm it does. The question is whether we'll keep optimizing for engagement or start designing for wellbeing.
My work sits in the gap between clinical research and real-world products. I take what we know from pediatric sleep science, co-regulation theory, developmental psychology, and therapeutic media design — and turn it into experiences families actually want to use.
Before Mindful Media, I spent years studying how media affects consciousness, attachment, and emotional regulation in children. What I found wasn't just concerning — it pointed toward a solution. If media can shape behavior for the worse, it can shape behavior for the better. But only if we design it that way on purpose.
Today, I advise studios, school districts, legal teams, healthcare systems, and policymakers on ethical children's media design. I speak on stages about what's broken and what we can build instead. And through Mindful Media, I'm building the proof that prevention-first media isn't just possible — it's the biggest opportunity in children's health.
Every child who falls asleep to a screen instead of a parent's voice represents a co-regulation opportunity we're missing. Every algorithm that maximizes watch time is trading a child's development for ad revenue. I'm not interested in blaming technology — I'm interested in building the alternative.
